Remove User Access

 

Overview

This process will show you how to disable a user's access. 

Important Note

You cannot permanently delete a user from the system. This is so that the system can retain historical data, related to item creation and approval processes.

Instructions

  1. Navigate to the User Menu in the top-right corner

  2. Select Site Settings

  3. Scroll to Users in the Users and Security section
    create_new_user_from_a_copy_of_an_existing_user_users.jpg
  4. Find the user you want to disable access for
    remove_user_access_select_user.jpg
  5. Click edit tool next to the user
    remove_user_access_edit.jpg
  6. Uncheck Enabled option and select Hide from Staff List and Hide From Approver's List while in User Settings

  7. Select Save at the top of the page
