Create a Backup Approver

Overview

Backup Approvers help you approve your assigned items, if you are unable to. This article will show you how to add a Backup Approver.

Instructions

  1. Navigate to User Menu

  2. Select Preferences & Password

  3. Click on the Backup Approvers button

  4. Select New Approver

  5. Fill in fields

    • Staff: Select a staff member to become a backup approver for yourself
    • Type
      • Disabled: Backup approver abilities are not active
      • Always: Backup approver abilities are always active
      • Specific Time Frame: Choose a specific From and To Date for the backup approver to have approving abilities
  6. Select Save
