Create a Backup Approver

 

Overview 

This article will show you how to add a Backup ApproverBackup Approvers help you approve your assigned items if you are unable to. 

 

Instructions

  1. Navigate to User Menu > Preferences & Password

  2. Click Backup Approvers

  3. Click New Approver
    create_a_backup_approver_new_approver.jpg

  4. Fill in the fields
    create_a_backup_approver_fill_in_fields.jpg
    • Staff: Select a staff member to become a backup approver for yourself
    • Type: Choose one option
      • Disabled: Backup approver abilities are not active
      • Always: Backup approver abilities are always active
      • Specific Time Frame: Choose a specific From and To Date for the backup approver to have approving abilities

  5. Click Save
