Video Streaming Process

The Matrox, or another encoder, can take an HDMI or SDI input of the video signal, which may come from the switcher or wherever.

When a live stream starts, the encoder box sends the feed to our Wowza servers for access by the public. It also locally records at the same time, in case the customer has internet issues. While the stream hits Wowza, it is recorded in the cloud so we can automatically allow on-demand availability once the live stream finishes.
