Error: No Media File

Overview

This article will show you how to troubleshoot if your stream is not running on your site or if you are seeing the No Media File message on the Public or Admin Portal.

Instructions

  • Verify all XML configuration is entered correctly (stream URL, port, stream name, accurate authentication (username/password) for streaming credentials
  • Verify that the encoder is not being blocked by your firewall and traffic is allowed on port 1935.
  • If you cannot verify the above items, contact CivicClerk Support
    • CivicClerk Support will
      • Verify that the stream is being received
      • Confirm accuracy of the publish point
      • Review configuration set up for any inconsistencies (spelling, settings or otherwise)
